Collection: Eclipse

CONCEPT:

The eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when one heavenly object moves in a shadow of another. this effect is also seen in photodynamic and chronophotography where one trajectory of action overlies another. i was intrigued by making the temporal-visible. the collection uses transparency and trails; translating sequential movement through layering and materials such as organza, organdy, silk and leather to evoke the lingering sensuality of the rose.

laser cutting, lay cutting and digital printing have been used to achieve a multifunctional, chic and yet practical range.
